We’re seeking an enthusiastic Business Management & Sales Interns to join our team for a 3-6 months unpaid internship. This role presents an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in sales and marketing strategies, customer engagement initiatives, and business development. The ideal candidate will be driven, creative, and eager to learn and grow alongside our team.

We provide services to almost any industry, but the majority of our clients come from the following sectors: entertainment, hospitality, events, marketing, real estate, cleaning, dental, medical, and law.

Responsibilities:

Please be aware that the extent of your responsibilities may fluctuate based on the number of hours you commit to working with us. Here’s an outline of the anticipated responsibilities. These may apply to our own brands, sister companies and/or client projects. You may be assigned different projects every few weeks, depending on available projects and other factors:

  • Sales & Management of Companies
    • Assist in sales and business management of our brands, partners and client projects.
    • Generate leads, close deals, conduct research, and implement strategies.
    • Assist in event production, staging presentations such as showroom staging, shoot, events.
  • Implementation of Growth Strategies
    • Aid in daily marketing tasks including social media management, content creation, blog post writing, SEO and website maintenance.
    • Implementing various growth strategies to maximize visibility and sales.
    • Development of website, marketing communication assets and sales tools.
    • Attend meetings with potential clients and partners, and networking events.
    • Assisting in planning events, client meetings, or promotional and team building activities.
  • Administration Support
    • Handle appointments, emails and calls efficiently, ensuring timely responses.
    • Handle orders from paperwork processing to preparation and packaging.
    • Provide assistance to customers, including walk-ins, appointments and maintenance.
    • Support the finance team with accurate bookkeeping, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
    • Inventory tracking, monitoring, reports & organization.
  • Business Systems Management
    • Contribute to developing and implementing business processes and systems to streamline workflows.
    • Take on team building assignments to foster collaboration and cohesion within the organization.
  • Undertake ad hoc assignments and tasks related to business management and growth including our sister companies and client projects.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with clients and colleagues effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Drive and familiarity with CRMs and Graphic Design apps are plus.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for learning and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Highly reliable and commitment to on-time performance, with no last-minute cancellations
  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or related fields is advantageous but not required.
  • Access to own laptop, smartphone and high-speed internet.

Details:

  • Internships typically span a minimum duration of 3-4 months.
  • Interns are expected to be available for a minimum of 16 hours per week, which may include event weeks and weekends as necessary.
  • Interns may also be assigned tasks related to sub-brands under Brand Glow Up or sister companies, depending on the needs of the organization.
  • College credit is available for eligible applicants; prospective interns are encouraged to consult with their academic advisors to ascertain specific credit requirements.
