How To Connect Your Instagram To Facebook

1. Go to the ‘Profile Tab’ which is the fifth icon on Instagram home.
2. Click on ‘Settings’ (the gear-like button below the battery percentage).
3. On the preferences panel, select ‘Share Settings’ then click on ‘Facebook’.

If you are using an iOS device, this step can also connect your Facebook on your Instagram account:

1. Go to the ‘Settings’ button on your iPod/ iPhone/ iPad.
2. Click on the ‘Privacy’ button.
3. Select ‘Facebook’ and turn on ‘Instagram’.

If you don’t find the Instagram option in your settings, then follow these steps:

1. Log in to Facebook from your computer and from your other device.
2. From your computer Facebook account, go to the ‘Instagram app page’.
3. Below the cover photo of that app page on very right, you will find the Send to Mobile option. Click it and the app will be sent to your mobile.
4. As you are already logged in to your Facebook account, you will get a notification on Facebook. Click the notification.
5. The Instagram app will be opened in your phone and you can share pictures easily from here.

Other things you need to know:

1. After doing that, the pictures you share on Instagram get the option to be shared on Facebook. If you don’t want to share them on Facebook, don’t select the other site when you upload on Instagram, and the photo will only be appearing on your Instagram account.

If you are having issues in connecting Instagram to Facebook from the above mentioned ways, you can follow these instructions:

1. If it is happening for the first time, maybe the Facebook is having some issues for a time being. Try the procedure again few hours later.
2. If the problem persists, remove Facebook and Instagram apps from your cell phone and from privacy settings of Facebook, also remove permissions of Instagram app. After that, download the apps again and try to reconnect.
3. You can also restart your device if you are having troubles with Instagram.
