Key Responsibilities:

Please note that the scope of your responsibilities may vary depending on the hours you commit to working with us and other various factors. Below is an overview of the expected duties. These may apply to our own brands, sister companies and/or client projects. You may be assigned different projects every few weeks, depending on available projects and other factors:

  • Project Management Assistance:
    • Support content creation, business writing, and copywriting projects for clients, sister companies, and sub-brands.
    • Assist in growth assignments such as developing funnel-building, community management, ads development, email marketing, and sales pages.
  • Content Development:
    • Interpret copywriting briefs to grasp project requirements.
    • Write copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, online, ads, and blog posts.
    • Plan and schedule content calendars in advance, aligning with marketing campaigns, product launches, and relevant events or holidays.
    • Craft persuasive and compelling copy for landing pages to drive conversions and meet campaign objectives.
    • Write engaging blog posts on industry-related topics to enhance brand authority and engage the target audience.
    • Translate creative direction and technical information into persuasive copy concepts.
    • Develop visual elements and assets for content projects.
    • Source images and other content as needed.
  • Educational Materials & Course Creation:
    • Develop course outlines and structures aligned with learning objectives.
    • Produce engaging materials like presentations, videos, quizzes, and assignments.
    • Ensure course content is accurate, up-to-date, and based on credible sources.
    • Enhance learning experiences through instructional design including multimedia elements and interactive activities.
    • Contribute to the development of educational and training materials.
  • Day-to-Day Operations:
    • Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
    • Engage with potential clients on social media platforms to support lead generation efforts.
    • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media channels in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive interactions with the audience.
    • Assist in handling emails, content creation, social media caption creation, product descriptions and enhancing systems.
    • Take on writing templates and other writing tasks to boost efficiency and support business growth.
    • Monitor and analyze social media insights, metrics, and performance data to measure campaign and content effectiveness.
  • Website Copy and SEO:
    • Assist in website maintenance tasks such as creating new content, updating content, product descriptions, optimizing SEO, and ensuring functionality.
    • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant terms and phrases for SEO optimization.
    • Implement on-page SEO techniques such as optimizing meta tags, headers, and image alt texts.
    • Create SEO-friendly content that aligns with target keywords and drives organic traffic.
    • Monitor website performance using analytics tools and make data-driven decisions to improve SEO strategies.
    • Stay updated on search engine algorithms and SEO best practices to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Client Engagement and Research:
    • Meet with clients to understand their message, brand voice, and target audience.
    • Conduct thorough research and interviews on consumer behavior and industry trends.
    • Conduct competitor research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in our social media presence.
  • Strategic Implementation:
    • Develop and implement creative marketing strategies for target audiences.
    • Assist in developing and implementing brand-building strategies to enhance brand awareness and reputation.
    • Support initiatives to strengthen brand loyalty and engagement with the target audience.
  • External Publications and Public Relations:
    • Research and identify guest blogging opportunities to expand brand reach and authority.
    • Write compelling posts for external publications to increase brand visibility and attract new audiences.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with industry influencers, bloggers, and journalists for potential PR opportunities.
    • Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Maintain brand standards through meticulous editing and copy modifications.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to create visually appealing and cohesive content.
    • Work with cross-functional teams and contribute expertise during meetings.
  • Continuous Learning and Adaptation:
    • Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in copywriting.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
  • Strong writing skills with a knack for storytelling and creativity.
  • Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to feedback.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with advertising principles and concepts is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Access to laptop, smartphone and high-speed internet

Details

  • Internships typically span a minimum duration of 3-4 months.
  • Interns are expected to be available for a minimum of 16 hours per week, which may include event weeks and weekends as necessary.
  • Interns may also be assigned tasks related to sub-brands under Brand Glow Up or sister companies, depending on the needs of the organization.
  • College credit is available for eligible applicants; prospective interns are encouraged to consult with their academic advisors to ascertain specific credit requirements.
