However, due to its many features, you might get lost and wonder how to install the Google Analytics on it. And this is why I’m writing this post, we’ll go through the easy step-by-step instruction on how to achieve this.
Install your Google Analytics on WordPress Genesis Theme
Step #1: Copy the code from Google Analytics
- Go to Google Analytics and click “Access Google Analytics”.
- Click on the site and click “All Web Site Data”.
- Click “Admin” and under Property, click “Tracking Info” and select “Tracking Code”.
- Copy the given code and proceed to the next step!
Step #2: Paste the code on WordPress
- Now go back to WordPress dashboard, click “Genesis” from the left sidebar and select “Theme Settings”.
- Scroll down to the bottom until you see this part: “Enter scripts or code you would like output to wp_footer():”. Now paste the code on that area. Here’s how it should look like:
- Now click “Save Settings” button.
