Dropbox is a type of online cloud application that lets you store your files in the internet.
You can even share files from your computer to another computer OR computer to your phone (iPad, iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Kindle Fire) as long as you have an internet connection.
I never really liked using any syncing tools online but I had to get it for a previous client.. then I soon realized how smooth it is. I didn’t have to email my work back and forth and worry about breaking down big files just to share files to my client.
Since then, I started using Dropbox for personal + business use. I use it to sync files from my phone to my computer and share files to my staff. Easy breezy!
Dropbox isn’t the only cloud storage space out there. You might have heard about SkyDrive, SugarSync, Box.net, and the recent launch of Google Drive.
Though each of these products have their own respective advantages, I still use Dropbox because of its simplicity and yet functionality.
I also realized that when you get a friend to register to Dropbox, you could have additional storage space!
