how-to: stop getting notifications from someone in google plus

If you’re tired of receiving notifications from a particular person or a page, you can “MUTE” them to stop getting notifications.

1. View the profile of the person you want to mute.
2. Click the drop down arrow below the profile photo and select “Mute XXX”. Here’s an example:
3. Click “Mute” button to confirm.

When you mute a person:

You will no longer receive any notifications when they mention you or share a post with you but you will still be able to see their posts in your stream or on her profile.

PS: You can always unmute them, just follow the same steps and click “Unmute”.
