how-to: track the # of followers you get everyday in google plus?

Google offers one of—if not already—the best analytics in the web technology nowadays, but it doesn’t mean it’s not without its limitations and weaknesses. However, should we include Google’s social network, the Google+, on that web application? It should, or it should not.

One of the things you might want to get out of Google’s social network is a tracking feature wherein you get to know the number of people already following you. This can be really helpful, more if you own a blog and you want to know how your market or fanbase goes. This can also be essential if you want to learn how your posts are helping your readers or followers.

  1. Sign up for an account on Circlecount.
  2. Click “You!” menu beside your picture and select “Your Profile”.
  3. Click “Update Now” to update your stats.
  4. Scroll down until you see this, take a look at the +/- section, that’s where you see the number of followers you get every day:
