Tutorial: How To Turn Off Facebook Notification Sounds
Annoyed with that “beep” sound every single time you get a notification from Facebook? No problem, you can easily get rid of that unpleasant sound by following this easy tutorial:
To Disable Notification Sounds on Facebook
- Click Settings (gear icon) located at the top right of your screen, then select Account Settings
- Click the Notifications link from left sidebar, then you’ll see the very first section: How You Get Notifications section, tick View beside the On Facebook option.
- Uncheck the check box with this label: Play a sound when each new notification is received. It should look like this:
- Click Save Changes button and you’re done!
