We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and digital content creation. The ideal candidate is a social media enthusiast who is eager to learn and contribute to our brand’s online presence.
Key Responsibilities
Please note that the scope of your responsibilities may vary depending on the hours you commit to working with us and other various factors. Below is an overview of the expected duties. These may apply to our own brands, sister companies and/or client projects. You may be assigned different projects every few weeks, depending on available projects and other factors:
- Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Create, curate, and schedule content across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community.
- Analyze social media metrics and prepare reports to track performance and provide insights.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement creative campaigns and promotions.
- Support the creation of visual content, including graphics, videos, and other multimedia elements.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
