How To Stop Fans From Posting Photos And Videos To Your Facebook Page

With the introduction of Facebook page, business owners can now promote their brand in the social network. Your page is a reflection of your business so it should appeal to your clients and potential customers.

However, some fans can take advantage of this by posting photos or videos on the page for spamming or marketing purposes. Good news is you can prevent them from doing this. Here’s a tutorial on how to stop fans from posting photos and videos to your Facebook page.

Steps:

1. Log in to your fanpage and click the Admin Panel.



2. Press Edit page tab located at the upper left area of the Admin Panel.



3. Click Edit settings from the dropdown menu.



4. You will be led to the Manage Permissions tab.



5. Under Posting Ability, uncheck the box for Everyone can add photos and video’s to fanpage name’s timeline.



6. Press Save Changes.

Things you need to know:

1. Aside from photos and videos, you can also prevent fans from posting in your Page’s timeline.
2. You also have the option not displayimages and videos as well as other posts in your Page’s timeline until you review them.
3. Fans who consistently display abusive behaviour such as posting inappropriate content or spamming can be banned or blocked from your page.
